I went out to a cd store to get Hell's Pit on Tuesday. You hardly ever see that as an opening line in this journal, because that's the 1st time i've bought a cd since the last "icp" cd (dark lotus)
I had it downloaded about 5 days before release. It wasn't a big deal really, but I knew there was no way I would see the DVD's early, so I held off on reading anything at all about them. I have to say it felt good to finally get a surprise out of ICP. I never wait and just buy the cd anymore. I download everything early.. Especially the things I plan to spend money on!
Since I refuse to buy 2 copies of the same cd, I ended up getting the cd that came with the bowling balls movie. Andrew bought the other version with the music video and the concert footage, so my dvd burner went to work and hooked us both up.
Bowling Balls is the coolest thing ICP's done (on media) in as long as I can remember. That would span a pretty good while too I think...I laughed my ass off thru the entire thing. I guess it's easiest to compare this to the Thriller video Michael Jackson did way back when. It's a music video with intermissions for a short movie...about 20-30 minutes long..oh yeah and it's in 3d too!
OK, so it's not hollywood calibur acting and special effects, but that's the last thing I expected anyway! I know alot of B-rate horror fans that would definitely appreciate it...and of course they add the ICP humor. I think I will watch it again tonight.
this is what you do when you're bored, it's all about future forum sig material...bah! I still have about 3 more weeks out of work. To be honest, I've been out so long that now that I don't really want to go back! I'm still just trying to enjoy it. Tomorrow, I go to the movies to see Hero
