1) Avatars with you pointing a gun at the camera do not make you look bad-ass, they make you look like an idiot. Particularly since every other moron on the internet who likes guns has the same damn avater. So stop it. (Obviously this isn't an issue here in LJ-land, but it is elsewhere.)
2) I had a great day at work yesterday. EB and The Girl Who Got My Job weren't there. I left work in a better mood than I have in months. It was awesome.
3) I'm going to a conference on Youth Development this week, Tue-Thu. In addition to being excited about the topic, I'm excited to get out of the building for a while. The downside? I have to be downtown by 8a. Ugh.
4) My supercute skirt from Amet and Sasha came in yesterday. It's awesome and fits beautifully. I love it. Are there places in St. Louis that sell cute clothing like that, or like Identity Crisis? I adore their style, but would like to spend money locally if I can. Otherwise I'll just keep ordering from the intarweb.
5) I suck at the knitting lately. By which I mean I haven't been doing any. It makes me sad, so I'm going to try to do a lot of knitting at the Red Cross tonight. So, everyone, if you could make sure no one's house burns down tonight, that would be awesome. Thanks.
