Much better.

I managed to keep all my clothing on this weekend. Go me! We watched some Farscape and The Omen (old) on Friday. Why is it that SF producers/costume designers think that New Rocks mean the future? Insane. The movie was kind of slow and not very scary; I'm curious as to how it compares to the new one. Last night I ripped more CDs to my iTunes for Craig (he's finally half-full!), then hit the Jade Room for a minimal amount of alcohol. Yay us!

I now sit here eating plain yogurt and granola (inspired by nastyboots's recent yogurt infatuation), debating what to do with my day. I'm thinking a quick trip to Whole Foods for necessities. mangledpuppies got us veggies from TGP Market yesterday, which look quite delicous, but I require some starchy carbs and proteins to make full meals. I know I'm demanding like that. Yesterday we had a patron bring in peaches that he had grown, so we're good on the fruit thing. I love when people do stuff like that; it makes me really realize why I enjoy working within a specific community for a length of time.

Then I'll spend some time spent with my tank top. I've made it to the waist shaping, which is a bit boring as this portion is all stockinette. It's turning out beautifully, so I'm super excited about it. I'm worried a touch about length; I've only two hanks of the yarn so I'm not exactly sure how long I'm going to be able to make it. I'm thinking I'll make this piece the front, as that's a bit longer, so I can ensure it'll only take a single hank. Also, I'll probably use ribbons for the straps instead of bra straps, as I don't like the bra strap look for this piece. (And ribbon will likely be easier to find in a matching colour.)

Then, of course, there's a ZS meeting for the planning of our Archon party and seminar. At least I'll get some good knitting in while everyone debates the merits of dressing up like zombies, having protestors, and what makes for funny apocalyptic jokes.

craig, food, knit, zs
