I've been struggling recently with implementing habits. This is sort of a double edged sword, so bear with me here as I try to explain this to you. I am going to relate it in the sense of the difference between Type A and Type B personalities, though that might not exactly be it.
I know many people who are obsessive about things. On the one hand, this is a really bad thing because they also obsess over bad stuff and end up in huge negative thought loops. Although, they also become driven for more more more, and therefore strive and have really deep passions.
The other type of person is way more laid back, they don't stress over much, and are happy with a little bit. I fall into this category. With things such as school work, going to the gym, implementing a diet, i just cant seem to get the habit going because I'm not obsessive enough
I just simply dont care enough even though I THINK i want to do it to its maximum
Not quite sure what to do, considering this laid back personality is what keeps me happy amidst tons of negative energy. Sometimes I feel pitty for those obsessive folks who are never at ease, but at the same time I wish i had that kind of obsessive capability to push myself to be obsessed with shit like working out or whatever.
Thinkin on it...
