Forgive me LJ for i have sinned....
It's been 5 months since my last post.
Enough of this crap. What the Hell happenned to yours truly over the last half-a-year?
Well, plenty. We moved into the apartment, which has proved to be a pretty sweet place to live over the last few months. We almost got kicked out of the damn place a month in because of my idiot Toronto friends (and myself) being WAY to obnoxious at our housewarming party. Part of the reason for that? Booze. The other reason? I'm a moron. The other other reason? I lost my job a week prior, and was in the mood to get fucked up. So fucked up in fact, that i tried to fight every single person i saw on the street that night. Stupid.
Lets get onto that subject for a moment. That job that replaced my Menupalace purgatory became something of a cluster fuck around September. Because they weren't giving me any work, they let me go with no notice. Apparently, i was on contract with them, except i never signed anything (not even an NDA), and Ben is a slimy fuck. That's right. Ben of Xystar Technologies Inc. You sir are a manipulative prick, and a two faced asshole. If you see this and you have a problem with it, you have my cell number. Take it up with me in person.
Enough with calling out former employers, what else is new. Oh! Right.
I have a NEW job. At a place called AzoogleAds. Internet Ad Agency. Its awesome, but i cant talk much about it, due to an NDA. Like a real company, they made me sign stuff.
Back to the apartment. We had a roomate named Kim. She is now no longer with us. And by that i mean she moved out, not that she died in some sort of horrible falling-off-balcony accident. Got a new roomate, and shes working out a lot better.
Also. We have cats. Two of em. They kick ass.
This summer Hollywood Swank had a bunch of big shows. We played with the 3Tards, the Vapids, DoA and a couple more big bands. We've been doing out of town shows all over the place, which i really dig. Hopefully we keep our steam rolling and keep writing good songs. Our tunes these days have been getting a lot better, and i do believe that its my influence that's helping a lot. Not to be big-headed about it or anything.
The podcast is going strong-er. I've got me a co-host now, and The Stealth Geek is way stronger and better and most importantly, more entertaining. Check it out at http://www.thestealthgeek.com. Its updated WAY more often than this blog.
Anyway, expect me to update again in about this long.
