Ahem. But seriously. From what I get about the community, pictures are posted and, like any art, people comment and give their responses to it (as is their right and all).
eril, of course, had a right to ask why you thought it was creepy (and if he had done it in a slightly less dickish way, it might have started an interesting discussion/dialog, rather than a wank debate) but totally blew his "I'm interested in your point of view and why you see it so different than I do" with his follow up to your response.
I'm not sure why all the cuntiness is directed at you. I mean, cool, people are going to disagree but clearly some people can disagree and can post a reasonable debate (as they have after yours; not sure why THOSE people weren't attacked).

Forgive me, but im not too sure what you mean here? My caplocking blather right there was a reaction to the sheer batshit of accusing me of being a pedo, (one by a known and batshit troll but thats neither here nor there)
I think maybe because Ive been a vocal member of a few snark communities of late, yknow, butthurt is butthurt, no matter how cool they play it.
It was my reaction to that photo.Its what I see the implication of it may be. Ive been over my reasons, the lack of context, setting etc etc. I was all up for a debate but the seriously hysterical and substandard replies I received pretty much sucked all motivation to discuss them in a reasoned manner.
And lol, yes my rambling comment is rambling. The picture still makes me nauseous.

And dude, how exactly is finding a picture of a naked kid (with a concerning expression and so forth) make YOU the pedophile? Such is the logic of trolls.
It's sad that the trolls flew off the handle, since what could've been an interesting debate (nudity in art is always ripe for good and healthy debate) quickly soured into "OMG, pedo! Puritan! Pronz!" nonsense. Bah, the internetz can be a gross place.
I've been avoiding wank communities like the plague. :^( I stumbled into tds_tcr_snark or whatever the fuck it's called and... ew. I needed a shower. I recommend not venturing in. I find sf_drama pretty much even handed, there's almost always someone willing to intelligently lay our reasoning, and the trolls easily scared off. YMMV though. :D

Yeah, I realise that the expectation of a reasoned debate of art in an art community may of been beyond the constrictions/contradictions of poor little lj.
