Where do I begin?
It's been awhile yet again. I do not know where to begin nor what to share.
I'll start with Kain, for those unfamiliar of him. He is, yet another, Zero copy. But he was a special made copy made by the Maverick Hunter/humans themselves. They created a special hunter Black Ops team that would do the dirty work, When the favored X, Zero, and Axl themselves could not comply, Or simply put. They were often unavailable. Especially in the Rebuilt city of Doppler City. A scientist long dead (Or is he?) Still respected as the brilliant scientist that he was, of course the city itself denies the fact that the old reploid himself has gone maverick and worked for Sigma. (In the process revived me for chaotic purposes.) Doppler city, still praises the long dead Dr. Doppler.
Even the Maverick Hunter Headquarters that reside there follow the denile through and through. The special Hunter Black Ops Team especially resided there. always sent on a mission. they were bred purely for the missions. for dealing with mavericks and renegade reploids. The entire team could simply put X, Zero, and Axl straight to retirement if they had kept up what they were doing.
Had, be the keyword here.
On one particular mission, Kain and his partner whom of course was an X copy, of course they were the best of friends. They were certainly every bit like X and Zero, just looked different. In anycase, they were inseperable. And this particular mission changed that. The usual of hunting down mavericks. Success of finding them, success of killing them.
Unsuccessful of leaving the building the mavericks resided in. Apparently, knowing the Special Ops team was after them, had rigged the entire building with explosives which were set to go off the second they were annhilated. Their Intelligence failed to see this and so did the Special Ops team.
Therefore most of the team died saved for two. Kain and another hunter. His partner however was one of the unlucky ones. This of course drove Kain nuts to a point where his creator was forced to shut him down. The creator of Kain was of course an old man. and would not revive the Zero copy for sometime. And when he did. it was because the old scientist was dying, and scared of losing his mass knowledge of.. well alot of things. since this old human was the head of the Special Ops Program as well as creating many of the copy reploids. He decided to leave much of his knowledge, or rather copied his knowledge into Kain himself. So when Kain was revived, he was no normal reploid, or a hunter. Infact, once the human had died. Kain took over many of the old man's projects and was soon given the rank of Science Commander of that MHHQ. One of the few main head cheese rather. And quit his old job. Seeing as there wasn't much of that team left anymore.
Oh, and I forgot that he took over the name of his human creator also. Dr. Charles Kain.
He was still Kain, but a well known Dr. Kain in Doppler City. Sounds familiar, huh?
So back to where I wanted to start originally.. I've been monitoring the Zero copy as he made a habit of monitoring me. He even sent Hunters after me on a regular basis, thus I was forced to leave Doppler city. Which was supposed to be temporary and back to good old Abel City.
Yeah, I missed Haunting X and Zero. And Axl being their new critter of their crew, I found he is a fun kid to annoy. But not as enjoyable to bug like X and Zero. The temper on those two remain delicious for me to toy with. Yeah, I seek their deaths, nothing would appease me more then to kill them.
but why rush into that? apparently time has the worst for them.
Or so I thought.
Kain found out I had left for Abel City and managed to get himself a job in that Hunter Headquarters. At first what turned out to be simple medical meetings with their Head Medical Officer there, Lifesaver, into a full time job. And over what you wonder?
Abel City has it's charms still for attracting the worst of the worst of Mavericks, Renegades, and Bounty hunters there. The best reploid I found for myself to do business with was Spider. He had his own little bar which was all for show. It was indeed a working business area but at the back? his own little office and jack of all trades. Even the bartenders weren't your normal bartenders, but no one would really notice it unless you knew Spider of course.
Or a hunter that knew a maverick when he/she saw one.
Yep. Abel city has not changed at all. I like that.
