Mar 13, 2011 19:48

[This video is not very clear. The lense is moving, as Kohaku is holding the device, examining it. Parts of his upper body and face can be seen, as well as blurry parts of his envriroment.]

... a voice, huh? I wonder how that works. If it works. Then again... after all this messed up shit, it wouldn't be so surprising...

[He holds it up again, now ( Read more... )

short entry is short, demanding answers, not happy, lucille you are an idiot, &polychromatic, so 19th century, !accidental video

You mean besides the fact I can now see your face much closer than I'd care to? [Lightening the mood with a jibe at Kohaku's expense was much better than having to talk of some the harsher truths to the situation after all.]

[Kohaku's level of annoyance just increased. The lense is now away from his face.]

If I was you, I'd consider myself lucky, because you certainly won't get another chance. [Exept for when he was attacking Lucille, because that was certain to continue happening a lot.

But it wasn't like him and Lucille having conversations like this was unusual. As annoying as they were, they were familar and even somewhat relaxing at this point]

Yes, because I'm sure it's a sight I want to memorize and cherish for eternity. [Sarcasm, what sarcasm?] But since you say I won't see this again, I should take the oppertunity to tell you to wash your face, before it gets to point where the locals run away in terror.

[From the chipper tone, you know he's doing that stupid, innocent, charming smile while he speaks. In all this strangess, it felt good to be able to enjoy one of his favourite pastimes still, teasing the life out of Kohaku.]

Trying to make the most of our situation. I doubted you would want the job of investigating possible housing and employment for us.

True. [Besides... Lucille was better at this stuff. While all members of the orchestra looked admittedly suspicious, Lucille at least had that charming smile of his to make people trust him.]

Found anything yet?

Well, there are apparently twelve buildings that have rooms where people can stay. It shouldn't be difficult to find lodgings. Also I happened to check in my trunk, and any of the money we had has been changed in oddly coloured coins. I assume this might be the currency of this place, so we may be able to buy food for a little while at least.

Still, the question is, what to do in the meantime, and when the money runs out.

Without guignols around, it's doubtful that they need an orchestra. Or rather what's left of our orchestra.

Now now, don't forget there are other reasons to play apart from destroying guignols. There must be someone in this place who appreciates music.

Just that they're probably not going to pay as much as people in fear of their lives do.

But I guess, we'll have to take what we can get.

Well I doubt we'll need as much money here anyway. We don't have a car to fuel, and we can't exactly send your bail money accross dimensions now can we?

Hmh. [And this means that he is free. Technically. There is nothing the court could do to him now. He could be free. But... he has no idea what to do with this freedom.]

[The notion has crossed the conductors mind as well. There was no obligation in this city for them to stay together. He didn't outright question what Kohaku wanted to do, but the waiting pause probably expressed it.]

[It was so annoying. But even back in their world, he wouldn't have exactly known where to go once the journey was over. here in The City he had even less ideas of what he could do. It was so unnerving.

But Kohaku knew that he'd keep on playing the violin. As long as he could remember back, he had been a musician. And it would be kind of ridiculous to part ways, if they were both musicians and were used to creating music together?

Of course, this was just an excuse to delay the real descision, but Kohaku needed some time to think this through]

Then let's look out for people who need some more melodies in their lives. They aren't going to get any better musicians than us.
