it's hard for me to shed any tears for Jerry Falwell. He had been a thorn in my side for years, and his being from Virginia only made things worse. We had not one, but TWO crazy evangelists in our Commonwealth ( let's not forget Pat Robertson.) Whatever did we do to deserve them??

I feel some amount of empathy for his followers and family. But as for the man and his legacy....my feelings are indeed mixed.
