A lot's been happening, so I think I'll reveal some of the more important things:
Spring Break...was a flop for me. I WAS going to be sewing my military!Hungary cosplay and start styling my Luka wig, all while finishing the KaitoLen picture and story, writing up more of the long Vocaloid story, start a new project in MikuMikuDance, and practice my singing and maybe whipping out my viola to polish up my skills.
Instead, Mom is hooked on only one Vocaloid song. Which gave me a horrible picture idea in which I am finishing. To be posted soon.
On Friday, I had an eye appointment. Before I get into that, I should explain a little:
Back in middle school, I was getting really severe headaches almost everyday. After going to the optometrist, it was revealed that my eyes are off-balanced. My left eye is farsighted, and my right is nearsighted. So, for about a year-and-a-half, I wore glasses. However, I went to a different optometrist: I really didn't need the glasses because they were off enough that they equalled each other out.
Then came Friday. I had an eye appointment with the concluding result: While my eyes still are in enough balance, my left eye has gotten worse, putting more work on my right eye. I could keep going without glasses, but my depth perception is a little off. With glasses, it'll be greatly improved, and it'll help with seeing things in classes and driving (although, when I get my license, I don't need to mark that I wear glasses). I decided to go with the glasses option. They'll be in in a week to ten days. Pictures coming around then~
High school musical on Friday. It's West Side Story, and Mom and I are going opening night. To be completely honest, I'm not expecting much. I'll probably write an essay about my reasoning later. And it's not because I'm not a huge fan of the show.
Our lovely Hetalia Day organizer is planning another gathering on Saturday. However, she just experienced a crisis, so I don't know if it's on or not.
UBCON IS COMING UP!!!! \o/ I still need to finalize my cosplays and hope that Kevin finishes the "Anime Name That Tune" buttons on time. He's doing good so far, and, hopefully, they should be done by the end of the week. I will definitely hade Chibitalia!Hungary, and maybe Matsumoto Rangiku and a casual Luka. Oh, and I'll be helping the maid cafe. (maid outfit + boobs + glasses = moe? OMFG. O_O)
I started watching Fushigi Yuugi in Japanese. I ALWAYS FORGET HOW MUCH OF A SOAP OPERA THIS SERIES IS. Seriously. If you haven't seen it, it's pretty good, but very much like a soap opera. But better, because it's animu.
Last two episodes of Hetalia have been released...somewhere. gg, where are you?! D:
Also,
diezeitgeber is right: Durarara!! is awesome. GO WATCH IT. NOW.
So yeah. Life.
I really shouldn't be typing this while in class.
