Wow. What a night. I'm proud to have been a part of what happened today. Historic voter turnout, young people getting involved, insane lines at the polls, the nastiest Republic campaign and smear tactics ever ... it was all worth it, because now our country is set to change for the better. Even though what I did was just a small part, even just getting people to the polls who couldn't have gone otherwise, I feel like I'm a part of something big.
And the party at Dem HQ was something else! I ended up sitting near the TV cameras and was on both Channel 7 and Channel 2. My mom recorded channel 7 but if anyone got channel 2's broadcast, I'd love to have a copy. DDN was there with a photographer too, their photos are already up on the website. What a great time.
