The squirrel per previous post has been saved....until an owl gets him!  The animal control lady pulled while antoher guy pushed and out came the captive.

I guess I should write more than that little entry since it's been ages since I updated for real.  Here's what's going on:
*Viola concerto competition is over!  I didn't win but feel really good about my performance, I stayed focused throughout, something I've been working on forever and have finally succeeded in doing
*I'm planning a master class/recital at St. Olaf this January.  A great experience and resume builder, and they're even giving me a tiny stipend for transportation.
*I'm in love with Bolthouse farms vanilla chai tea/soymilk drink.
*I can't wait to go home for Christmas, I miss my family and home.
*Emily and Jesse are getting married in January, Dustin and I visited them in Reading for a weekend and had a blast.  We also day tripped it to Philadelphia, such a cool city and a fantastic art museum.  Highly recommended
*I'm working on DMA applications for more viola performance.  Eastman, Hartt, and SUNY at Stoney Brook.  Maybe Boston University....I feel like I just applied!
*TAing for Mr. Graham is fantastic.  I feel really good about my teaching and the four firstyears are so different from one another.  A once in a life time opportunity for sure.
*I have a hardingfele!  Here it is:

It was made in 1926 in Minneapolis by an Ole something (the singniture is hard to read).  It needs a little work but seems to have a good sound and the ink drawings are so pretty!

So, that's it for now.  You know something about me again!  Don't be shy and ask if you want to know more.
