(no subject)
It's been too long LJ, far too long.
Really too much has been happening for an update which would be less than 100 pages long so suffice it to say:
-FY2 has flown by in a flurry of good, bad and downright mindnumbing (neurosurgery). Less drunkeness than being a J-ho but a great deal more competency.
-Passed my MRCP Part 1, which lead me to believe doing my Part 2 in July was a good idea. Oh, how wrong I was.
-Although MTAS tried to screw us all in Scotland, we have screwed them back by leaving the country. I'm off to Manchester in August- not my first choice, but the right choice. Wales also offered me a job but I couldn't think of any really good reason to move there other than the potential of a David Tennant sighting (and, of course, the company of the very lovely laurajo).
-My GHDs broke. No, really, it's a tragedy.
More recently meamna and babylil have been added to my collection of wonderful legal eagle friends, which I am very proud and glad of. Medical defence law, anyone???
