How to deal with all the loss? I wish I knew. Mostly I try not to dwell on it, but come to terms with it? Theoretically it's possible, but it's not like AAA gives out fucking Trip-Tychs for thosetrips.**
Shit, bad people and situations? I'm sorry that I didn't know. I'm glad you escaped that, even if you had to leave good friends behind too.
(I must admit that living in a smaller city with just as my friends in it has been a good choice for me, simply logistically. One of my best friends lives almost exactly a mile away, and we both can still walk that far unassisted. That would've been extremely unlikely in Chicago.)
I'm so glad that the move to Seattle has helped and even worked for you. I'm sorry to lose this particular way of staying in touch with you, but oh honey shut the damn door on the crap from the last decade, PLEASE.
(Maybe we can get together some time and do some shitkicking of effigies? In between sips of coffee and bites of chocolate, from our comfy chairs.)
