[Soubi is outside on the outskirts of the village, painting the forest, cigarette in mouth. Feel free to inquire, or approach!

[A pedo rumor? Be thankful Chibi-Usa hasn't heard that one. She was out roaming the village today anyway, so she won't hesitate to approach Soubi when she sees him painting.]

Hi Soubi! [He promised her a snack with a weird name. She still hasn't forgotten.]

[He blinks, looking up from his painting to see her. He had only seen her over journal briefly, hadn't he? But he didn't remember telling anyone else his name.]

Chibi-usa?

[It was twice, actually. Once when she drew in her journal and once when Soubi asked about paint supplies. It's been a while, but handsome guys leave an impression on Chibi-Usa. She smiles brightly.]

What are you drawing? Can I see?

[violaceil]

The forest. Go ahead. [ He stands back, allowing her to look at it more freely. It's about 3/4ths of the way done, the colors in it rather contrast like-- bright greens and dull greens seemingly warring against each other. It's kind of a reflection of how Soubi feels right now, which altogether isn't too bad-- or else he would be drawing butterflies.

While she's looking at it, he'll take one last drag of the cigarette then stomp it out on the ground. It was an unconscious gesture, but somewhere in his head he knows little kids shouldn't breath in cigarette smoke.]

[She barely notices the cigarette, her eyes fixated on the painting. It's somewhat of a combination of random colors, but in a way, that's what makes it interesting. Maybe one day, she can draw like that too. She hopes so.]

That's really pretty! You're really good at drawing, Soubi.

I would hope so. It's what I go to school for.

If you practice, you can get better too.

You go to school so you can learn how to draw?

[She knows there's drawing classes at school, but those are only few and they just let the kids do whatever they want. Actually being taught how to draw is a completely different thing.]

Yup.

Japanese art, specifically.

That's amazing! I wanna take art lessons too!

[He thinks for a bit. He's not much a teacher nor has he ever liked being one. But...]

I could give you a few pointers.
