TGIF-Tomorrow
Yay I'm happy it will be Friday tomorrow, even tho I still have to work on Saturday. Then Sunday is my b-day! This year will be a good year for me.
E came home, he had a great day today. I had a good day, even if my car died on the way home and most of my day was spent typing out an extremely tedious form on excel. I hate that program. I'm supposed to be a teacher, not a secretary. I swear there is at least twice as much paperwork and planning as teaching. You can only do the paperwork when the kids aren't there, and you can only do the teaching when the kids are there. It's a Catch 22.
I swear that teaching has had an effect on my brain chemistry. Since I began teaching I have had to start taking a lot of medications. It is not an easy job. It changes who you are on a chemical, physical and psychological level. Last year I dreamed about teaching every night. I was working 24 hours a day. All I used to want was for the dreams to go away. They are better this year. I need to find some research on the effects of teaching on the brain, and if there isn't any, start conducting surveys on this stuff. This would be a really interesting topic.
