Go Home
Why do you keep coming back here? Why do you insist on asking to join us, to betray your friends and your family?

I heard differently than what you tell me. I heard you've been dancing your way through life. Danced in the womb, even. You think that's too early to dance? Well. Maybe it is. But that's what I heard you did and I heard you still are. You're all smiles. You obey all your teachers and your father, and you miss your mother, but you don't really let it get to you too much. Yes, I know all about you. There's no reason for you to come with me.

Oh? I've heard wrong? But that's what all children think. They think that no one cares, that their family would be better off without them. But that's never true. Just give it time, and you'll see the truth. The truth is the exact opposite. Trust me. I was there... a long, long time ago. But I was there and I remember. Trust me.

But you're right? And I'm wrong, again? It's all true? Well--

Look. Can you even tell me what's so special about me? Why I'm the only one you go to about this?

You can't? Well. That's because there's nothing special about me. But I've heard you're special and your friends and your family, they love you for it. So go and--

Please. Don't look at me like that.

Please. Forget about me, because I can't help you.

Please. Stop holding onto my arm so tightly.

Please. Don't start crying now when you've been dancing for so long.

Please. Please, please, please--

You can't keep coming back here. I will not help you. You're not an orphan. You're not alone. Go home. Go home and learn to dance, if you can.

Jacob doesn't need you yet.
