White is everywhere in the land of Skypiea.
And at one time, white was pure and innocent in Conis's eyes. There was a war going on, but she still felt safe with all of the citizens always by her side. The land wasn't dying because of any kind of foreign sickness. Visitors from the Blue Seas never left while laughing at destruction behind them.
And at one time, she was able to live peacefully and her biggest worry was trying to figure out how to successfully play a new song on her harp. She was able to train to fight without participating in actual combat, and she was able to ride through the sea of clouds with no disruptions.
But that was then--and now, white is everywhere in the land of Skypiea, but it is cold, so biting cold and bitter and unforgiving. White is the wrath of a furious God who never had any intentions on keeping any of them alive, a merciless God who has the power to control lightning that has no desire to ignite a passionate fire in any of their hearts or eyes.
She doesn't notice this until (she believes) it is too late.
