tale of shaolin night and NMS lights!

Caught the tale of Shaolin yesterday at the Esplanade with Royston. The performance was indeed an acclaimed martial arts dance pantonmime.

The martial arts dance was flawless with fantastic choreography. Kudos to the leads especially the female.... she was just so emotionally immersed in her character as "Shu Shui".

Everything from the dance, the music, the sets and especially the lighting was very well put up! I will strongly recommend this dance perf to all! GO CHECK IT OUT! Only happening this weekend!

And gawd, im damn happy with the good seats we had! Thanks Royston for choosing them!

After the jaw dropping performance, we headed down to the NMS to check out the Beatology Night Festival event. The Music (concert theme) thing did not really attracted us.... instead we were once again treated to a mesmerizing lighting display! This time..... the entire NMS was once again the backdrop! The light casted on the building created a new skin for the NMS everytime.

There were tons of enthusiastic photographers.... with their tripods and expensive cameras.... waiting for the change of "skin" which happens every 3 mins or so...

The pics i took may not be the best but i guess it was the best i could do considering that i took it with my camera phone! (Damn! should have brought along my Canon!)

*If you forgotten how NMS looked like without this lighting effect, check out my previous entry!* SEE THE DIFFERENCE?

What a great night it was!
