Maybe a female judge is a good thing... females tend to be fair, as a general rule I think. At least I hope this one is in your (his) case. I don't know how much back child support he owes or anything, but if he's willing to make some sort of compromise, I'm sure the judge will be fair with him. Lots of dads don't even show up to court - let alone be in their child's life, so that will be in his favor as well. I think in a way the ex wife is putting herself on the line to be screwed - or at least giving him more of a chance to be heard than he would be without the courts being involved. These days more and more people are realizing the fathers importance and being more fair about it... so I'm hoping this is the case with your man. I will be lighting the candle as promised... I hope to hear good results! *hug*

*BIG hugs*

thanks so much, dear, for the support and lighting the candle. it's soooooooooooo appreciated!! i think it really helped today! :) even though things looked grim in the beginning, everything turned out wonderful in the end. (i wrote about it in a post)

the next time you get around to lighting candles and if you don't mind, light one for me and jeff... for our relationship to thrive and prosper. for him to open his mind, heart and soul to me and to show me he appreciates me. although we're doing great as a couple, i still pray for that everynight. cuz i'd like to be closer to him than we are now. :) hey, it never hurts. hehehe

by the way, how're things going in your neck of the woods??? (i'll catch up ASAP on what's been going on in the past month once things blow over with justin's visitation.)

Glad everything worked out... who knows maybe the judge was a real bitch after all, and Jeff got lucky not having to face her. I let the candle burn all day long and it did kind of burn weird, the flame wasn't steady at all (which is unusual - no breeze). Generally that happens when there is a LOT of conflict going on behind the scenes. Is his ex wife extremely volatile or something? Has she been causing any other problems outside of court in general... as in meddling, headgames, etc?

Anyway, thanks for the thanks ;D I'm just glad to help... I know how rought that situation can be... Also, thanks for posting that Dad's right thing. I know my b/f won't consent to paying $60 a year, but in a bind, he might fork it over lol... so thanks. =)

ohhhh yeahhhh, his ex-wife is very vindictive and volitile. now, she's not only messing with jeff, she's dragging me into it by telling justin not to hug me... in fact at the t-ball game last night, she was probably pissed off that i was helping with the batting order again (at jeff's request) and she came over, HOVERED over justin the entire time. justin told me and jeff today that he told his mom to stay away from her boyfriend because he was "gross" (he's a bald, fat, 40-yr old man. "an old man" according to justin) and she said, "barbara has earrings in her face and don't people think she's gross?" justin said no. lol now she's keeping justin from jeff this weekend... his usual visitation on the 1st weekend. i hope she does. it'll help jeff's case cuz SHE'LL be in contempt of court. it'll help jeff's case down the line for getting custody of justin permanently. there's so much shit she tries to pull... she's a REAL bitch. any way she can get back at jeff, she'll try it. it's a shame she can't focus that energy on justin and try to ( ... )
