.another day, another dollar.
i'm eagerly awaiting the mail to arrive. today, my 2nd paycheck will be coming. i'm so excited to have money again. :)
yesterday i got the essential stuff for my new checking account. it came a lot quicker than i thought.
next week, i'm looking for my "normal" clothes from Lerner's coming in. i needed something that was casual but business appropriate. i actually ordered *gasps* WHITE shirts and *gasps* a pair of blue jeans and *gasps* a pair of khaki capris and *gasps* shirts with color!!! omg i think i'm gonna keel over and die wearing anything other than black!!! aghhhh!!!
also next week, the work at home thing jeff and i ordered should be coming in. it's for data entry. there's 141 companies in the DFW area that are looking for workers to do data entry. we're gonna request a full time deal and split it between the 2 of us. they pay $12 - 17/hr. we both really hope this is legit because it would definitely help the both of us get out on our own. especially since i'm working part time right now.
last night jeff and i drove out to flower mound to get the Heroes of Might and Magic III: Complete. we found one copy at grapevine mills mall sunday and were looking for a 2nd since we've networked the computers together. i took a bunch of old computer games up there and got $29.99 in store credit. so i got the Heroes game, the new Ultima Online:Age of Shadows game and an EB Games Edge card that gives 10% off each purchase of used games. all of that was free! :D it was funny, the guy working there was hitting on me in front of jeff... and i didn't really think too much of it until today when jeff text messaged me and said "i just got hit on by a Starbucks chic!" dork. *twirls finger* lol. i think it's funny. he usually ignores it when i get hit on by guys... unless of course they're taking it too far, which is when he'll stand up and say something. (he almost did that last friday night when we were at gators. one guy was touching my hair and i turned around, startled, asked him what the hell was he doing. he was gonna smell my hair. i turned and looked at jeff and he stood up. i turned around and looked at him and he put his arms around me... i guess when he did this, the guy got the hint.) when i'm on smoke breaks at work and i call him... he hears all the guys driving by honking or whistling at me. he knows what he's got... but it's cute to see the insecurity a lil bit.
things between me and jeff are going great. we were talking about things we want for our apartment... agreeing on 100% of it. i don't see us living in seperate apartments for long at all. it'll be stupid to live apart for any longer than a year. hell, we'll be hopping back and forth between each other's apartments... pay about $650+/mo a piece when we could each pay $400/mo for a 2 bedroom together... that way we have our room and justin has his for when he visits jeff. but i'm not rushing anything. :) if i've learned anything from jeff... it's to be patient. something that was extremely difficult to do, but i'm a pro at it now. :)
anyway, i'm gonna install Ultima Online and start playing it. i can't wait... i want jeff to get as addicted to it as i used to be. :) then we both can play it at the same time!! that'll rock!
