T-day

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Needless to say, I have been stuffing myself silly ever since. Yesterday I had a nice late lunch of cheese ravioli and a sandwich, which left me painfully full. I could hardly breathe so I had to lean the seat back in the car. Even though I was supposed to be working, I fell asleep in the parking lot for a little while afterwards. I love the feeling after my little nap - I didn't feel like I'd eaten a lot at all. I just had a really tight, hugely inflated feeling in my stomach that was really comfortable. An hour later I got home, not hungry at all, but my girlfriend insisted I try what she'd made for dinner. She tried to hand me her bowl and I said no, I was still full from lunch. But she gave a nice spoonful to me and said "Go on, just try a bite, it's really good!" It was really good - chicken with rice and some greens mixed in... Then she gave me a bowl and I ate all the rice and greens as fast as I could, before my stomach could realize what was going on. She was like "You didn't eat the chicken, let me cut it up for you," so I ended up eating all the chicken, too. After that and some beer and several glasses of water, I was feeling really bloated. But she had just made cupcakes so I had to try one. The icing looked chocolatey but tasted peanut buttery - mmmm. So I had one with a big glass of whole milk. Milk is great with cakes or donuts cause you don't really have to chew them - just take a big bite of cake and a few sips of milk and poof - the cake is easy to swallow and you're ready for another bite. The only problem is my belly thinks it can only hold a limited amount of food. We'll see about that. Too bad I had to go to bed early. There was enough milk for me to down a few more cupcakes, but everyone was around so I didn't want to be a total pig :) or at least not in front of them. Maybe tonight, if there are cupcakes left. I had two for breakfast already.

I love reading everyone's posts about Thanksgiving dinners and such. Actually, I love reading everyone's posts in general. I don't comment as much as I used to, but you can bet that if you're on my friends list I read every journal entry you make. So thanks! Even when I don't post a lot, your posts inspire me to eat everything I see. Especially when you post belly pics. You people have some amazing bellies. My, oh my.
