(no subject)
so yes, i will make the obligatory xmas post.
i must say that, regardless of being sick - the sluggish, grumpy sick- for the past almost two weeks, there is nothing that can really ruin xmas. whatever, i'll admit it, i love xmas, and yes, the presents are great and all, but i just enjoy the atmosphere of being in maine during holiday time. i will try my hardest ever to always spend xmas in kennebunkport, maine. as for right now, everything is slowly and turning miserably icey, not fun at all.
as for big gifts, again, i'll admit it, i'm not afraid to show that i'm a consumer-bitch, and yes i did get an ipod, i've asked for one for ages and it's a combination birthday present, and yes, i still buy cd's but, as i prefer, i spend much more money investing in vinyl which i cannot put into a backpack and listen to on the subway, so i see a great deal of worth in having an ipod. whatever.
as for other things i got:
another pair of hightops from my sister
suspenders from dad
pinstripe pants from mom
along with a plethora of other goodness
as for vacation so far - it's been relaxing, but i honestly believe that being here makes me feel really really unproductive. i do not want to do anything but sleep and i atribute much of this attitude to the fridgid and gray weather. i have much work to be done getting my self in shape, working on school crap, magazine articles as well as work/interning plans. ok, i must get my ass in gear
