seeing a newly retired fidel castro in a track suit has kinda made my month. i can definitely identify.
i ended up getting way too into that dexter show from my sickbed in recent weeks, and watching every episode that myriah hadn't already rented. the final couple episodes didn't deliver quite what i had in mind, but still made the grade in a big way.
i also watched a lot of videos on how to fix hard drives, and perhaps became a little too optimistic that i could recover all the data from the one i dropped on my floor, without spending hundreds of dollars. i went to home hardware and got a special screwdriver, took the thing apart, pressed on a couple things, blew some dust off the data platters which were mesmerixingy reflective (probably a big mistake), then put it back together and emailed some data recovery place for a price quote, explaining in detail my mishaps to that point.
i'm still trying to wrap my head around the new playlist they have at thrifty foods, which basically amounts to watered down classic rock. if this is an indication of how the sobey's buyout is affecting things, local food buyers are in for rough times.
meg got me a cambodian fighting fish, and i really want to hold a mirror up to it so it will flare up its fighting fins.
