Happy =)
Last night was such a good night. It was the first time in awhile that I was able to smile all happy. Unf, well, there were a couple of bumps along the way, but its all ok.
So, my dad & I picked up Alicia around 7:28pm, and on the ride to the mall we were talking about the whole terrorist thing and how overrated it all is. Interesting conversation. Right when we get there, my cell phone goes off and it's my friend Billy. He happened to be at Sawgrass with his friend Bradley, so Alicia and I met up with them in the food court. When we got there they were all eating. Afterwards, we decided to go see a movie. Everything we wanted to see was rated R, so that sucked bad. We wound up going to see 'When Darkness Falls'. We got into the movie around 8:20, and the movie was alright. I admit, I jumped a couple of times, but it is certainly not something I would buy on DVD when it came out. Lets see. After the movie we went back to the food court because Alicia was hungry. All of a sudden, Billy got a call on his cell phone, and he wound up ditching Alicia, Bradley, and myself. This made me furious. So the three of us went out to Brad's car and just hung out for a bit. Nothing really exciting. Then we decided to walk back to Ron Jon to see if we would run into Billy because Bradley had to get home. So Billy calls Brad's cell phone, and is all like blah blah blah meet me at the car. Alicia & I walked to the car with Brad. On the way there Alicia made this guy who was carring carts crash and all the carts tipped over =( Brad and I were in front of her when all this happened, and all of a sudden you hear "Oh my god! I'm so sorry! I'll help you!" Brad and I sort of looked at each other and said "Shit, what did she do now?" Good times. So we got to the car, and Billy comes over and he was saying "I am so sorry for ditching you tonight Ashley." yadda yadda. I basically just walked away and said "Don't even bother." Billy and Brad left after that. Then I got a call on my cell phone about ten minutes later. Low and behold its Billy apologizing. I told him that nothing was ever going to happen between us besides a friendship, and that he ruined all chances. He seemed fine with it. After they left, Alicia and I went back to Ron Jon, and I ran into CJ who I used to play basketball with in 5th grade. My, that kid has not changed one bit. Anywho. Then Alicia and I called it quits and went home.
So, why was the night so good? I think I finally met somebody that I actually like. Brad. Yup. IT was so fun the whole not just goofing off with him. I could be myself, and our personalities played off each other. So when I got home, I went on the internet, and he was on so I IMed him, and we talked for a bit. We have plan to go out on a "get-to-know-you-better-get-together-with-a-cookie" Friday. We're going to go to the movies, and get cookies. That should be interesting.
Our conversation lasted about an hour or so, and then he had to go. By this time it was 1:15am. I talked to Nick for a bit, and I had him call my cell phone, and we talked until about 3:00am. And then I had to drag my tired ass out of bed at 8:30 this morning because I have to tutor this girl in math. Ugh, I am so tired. But my shower woke me up, and I am *actually* up early enough for a McDonalds breakfast. Welp, I have to go <3
