Drabble
Title: Unrequired Love
Pairing: Akame onesided (if you can call it that)

Looking at him, acting like nothing is wrong, that it doesn’t hurt to talk about his latest conquest, pretending to be interested in whoever it is that’s on the list today. Kame sighed. It was a good thing that he was a pretty good actor. Listening to Jin and giving him advice on his love life was a pain, although lately he didn’t see much of Jin at all, mostly at work.
If there was one thing Kame regretted it was that he had allowed his and Jin’s relationship turn out the way it had. Still that was old news. Life went on. Or so people said.
Kame nodded reassuringly to his band mate. Of course it was ok to date that girl, and it was great that she and Jin had so many things in common and yes she was very pretty.
Kame watched Jin with his latest girlfriend. Somewhere deep inside him something hurt. Honestly though it wasn’t as if he didn’t know that he and Jin weren't compatible, that even if Jin would be interested that it never would work and Kame had moved on. But still…
Jin’s phone rang and he started gushing to YamaPi about his latest love and forgot all about the young man who sat beside him. Kame looked at Jin, then he stood up and walked away. Walking away from Jin. Sometimes it felt like that was the only thing he could do.
Looking back Kame wished that he could change a lot of things. Unfortunately one can not change the past. Only move on and hopefully not make the same mistakes again. Hopefully. History has a tendency to repeat itself after all. Kame sighed, closed his eyes for a long while before opening them again. He looked into the mirror. The smile was in place, his eyes were shining. A normal day in the life of Kamenashi Kazuya.
