Title: A birthday party
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Akame
Characters: Jin, Kame, Pi, Shirota and Ryo + OC
Wordcount: 1413
Genre: Akanishi-Kamenashi household AU
Summary: It's Akira's fifth birthday and Jin together with a couple of friends have promised Kazuya to take care of it.

Kazuya threw himself down onto the couch and closed his eyes. He just wanted this day to be over and done with, the noise of a glass or something of the like shattering made him flinch and put a hand over his already closed eyes.
“Piece of cake he said.” Kazuya muttered. “Don’t worry Kazuya me, Pi, Shiro-tan and Ryo will fix this. You won’t have to do a thing!” Kazuya snorted in disgust. “And like the gullible fool I am I actually believed him. I should have known better than to believe that the moronic four would be able to fix this.”
Kazuya abruptly sat up when a loud crash was heard. “He is so sleeping on the couch for the next century.” No crying children could be heard so Kazuya decided to stay where he was. The door opened slowly and Ryo snuck out. Kazuya bit his bottom lip hard to keep himself from laughing.
Ryo looked liked he had taken a shower in cream, jam, popcorn, sparkles, chocolate sauce and what not.
“Sit down on anything and die Ryo-chan.” Kazuya eyed him up and down. “You better not touch anything either.”
Ryo glared at him and gave him his finger. Kazuya snorted, it would have been more impressive if said finger hadn’t been covered in something blue and if there hadn’t been colourful strings around his head.
“Your son and his friends are a bunch of delinquents.” Ryo snarled and grabbed a chair and sat down. “Do you know what they’re doing to us?”
Kazuya snorted. “What was it you, Jin, Pi and Shirota said when you all started planning Akira’s birthday party? Don’t bother. Please allow me to refresh your memory. No problem Kazuya. You worry too much Kazuya. 15 kids are nothing Kazuya. Piece of cake! With all our experiences this will be easy. It’s ok that you’re busy. We’ll fix this.”
“The short people in there-” Ryo waved his still colourful hand in the direction of the closed doors. “-are not children. If they had been there would not have been any problems. They’re monsters!”
“Ryo-chan. Are you by any chance calling my son a monster?”
Ryo flinched a bit at the tone and the intensity of Kazuya’s glare but he was after all Ryo Nishikido. “Normally no I wouldn’t but right now, hell yes!” Ryo leaned back on his chair, crossed his arms across his chest and pouted and was surprised when Kazuya burst out laughing. Before he knew it his laughing friend whipped out his phone, took a photo and sent it.
“What the?”
“Language Ryo, language. You never know who could over hear you, right Aki-chan?” Kazuya smiled at his son who had sneaked away from Pi, Jin’s and Yuu’s supervision.
“Daddy!” The birthday boy giggled and ran to his father who caught him, gave him a kiss and helped him onto his lap. Kazuya did grimace when he felt something squishy on Akira’s clothes.
“Are you having fun?” Kazuya asked. Akira grinned and nodded. “Yeah, uncle Pi and uncle Yuu are so funny and pa is being silly. Uncle Ryo, I was wondering where you went so that’s why I went looking for you. I didn’t want you to miss all the fun.”
Ryo gave him a weak smile. “Uncle Ryo is in charge of ‘Putting the tail on the piggy’ and uncle Pi said that we couldn’t start that game before uncle Ryo was there.” Akira told Kazuya seriously. “Uncle Pi said that uncle Ryo would be sad if we started without him.”
“When I get my hands on Pi…” Kazuya ignored Ryo’s mumbling and nodded gravely at his son. “Uncle Pi is right, we can’t deprive uncle Ryo of the fun, that wouldn’t be fair, would it? Uncle Ryo, why don’t you take Akira back to the rest and play ‘Put the tale on the Ass’”
“No, no daddy. It’s ‘Putting the tail on the piggy’.” Akira told him, behind Akira’s back Ryo was making a rude gesture to Kazuya.
Kazuya slapped his forehead, “Ah, my bad. Now why don’t you take uncle Ryo with you and go back to all your friends? I’ll be with you in a while, I just want to change into something more comfortable than my work clothes, ok?”
Both Ryo and Kazuya winced at the loud shout of joy and the little hooligan grabbed Ryo’s hand and pulled him towards the dining room that had been turned into a combat field in Kazuya’s opinion.

Four hours later found five adults sitting in the living room holding ice packages against their heads while the birthday boy was playing with his gifts in his room.
“I’m soooooo deeeeaaaaadddddd.” Pi groaned.
“If you’re dead, than I’ve been dead for a month.” Shirota muttered.
“Ha! In that case I’m a zombie!” Jin added. “Huh? Guys, why are you so quiet? Huh?”
Kazuya decided it was time to change the subject. “A question, what did you guys give them to eat for lunch?”
Jin mumbled something. “Jin I didn’t hear what you said.”
“He said that Akira wanted to have banana split and waffles with cream, syrup, jam and chocolate sauce for lunch.” Ryo happily informed Kazuya.
“That’s only sugar, and you gave them candy, cake and I don’t want to think about what more you fed them. No wonder they were so high spirited.”
“High spirited? HIGH SPIRITED!!! Is that what you call it?!” Shirota asked in disbelief.
Kazuya managed to turn his head just enough so he could give Shirota a glare. “You were helping him too, weren’t you? How come you didn’t stop him? Huh? After all, I thought that four grown men would at least now better than to feed five year olds SUGAR!”
Jin whimpered and if he had possessed the strength he would have hidden behind the couch but as it was the only thing he could do was to make sure his ice pack was hiding his eyes.
Kazuya sighed. “Oh well, you guys made Akira very happy today so I guess it’s fine.”
“We did, didn’t we?” Jin suddenly sat up and gave them a huge grin. “We rule as party makers!”
The rest gave loud agreements and the mood had suddenly changed from total exhaustion to exhilaration.  Kazuya grinned and gave Jin a kiss on the cheek.
“Hey Kazuya, if he get’s one I want one too!” Pi said and pointed to his cheek.
“Yeah, so do I!” Shirota said and leaned in.
“Hell no! Stay away!” Ryo said grinning.
Kazuya laughed and Jin slapped his friends’ heads. “No way! He’s mine! You’re my best friends but no one touches my Kazuya.”
“Oi keep it down lover boy. No one wants your Kazuya.” Ryo said.
Jin looked perplexed and then he gave Ryo the evil eye. “What do you mean? No one wants your Kazuya. Do you think there is something wrong with him?”
Both Kazuya and Ryo rolled their eyes while Pi and Shirota were giggling and Jin was standing with his hands on his hips, trying to look intimidating but failing miserably because leftovers were still covering him from the party.
“Jin you’re too cute.” Kazuya went up to his other half and gave him another kiss. Jin sighed happily and put his arms around Kazuya’s waist. “But being cute won’t help you get out of cleaning up.”
Kazuya untangled himself from Jin’s arms and grabbed onto YamPi and Shirota. “The cleaning things are in the cupboard in the hallway, I imagine you’ll find everything that you’ll need in there. Ryo and I will go buy some food and if you’ve finished when we come back I’ll even treat you to desert!” Kazuya beamed at them and grabbed Ryo and pulled him towards the door.
“No! I don’t want to go out looking like this! KAMENASHI!”
Shirota shook his head. “I know we got stuck with the boring job but somehow I’m relieved that I’m not the one being forced to go out.” Pi and Jin nodded.
Jin walked over to the disaster area and sighed. “Guys we better get started, there is a lot of work to be done and then you’ll have to help me come up with an excuse to my mother why a lot of grandmother’s things got broken.”
“Jin, you never liked them.” Pi reminded him. “And you were the one who broke them and not the kids.”
Jin gave him a grin. “I know that, and you know that but Kazuya and my mother don’t.”
