After spending the evening with awesome friends and watching our country make a wonderful bit of history I am ecstatic and relieved. I have been having mini panic attacks about this election for weeks. I really love how in his speech he went from yea we can have fun tonight but there is a shit load of work to be done so let's get to it. I have enjoyed reading about the worlds response to our president elect, it's going to be nice to feel connected in positive ways to the every where. I know there is still a shit storm out there and I realize it's gonna take a bunch of work, however I will be able to for the first time in 8 years listen to the leader of my nation and not cringe in shame, sneer with disgust or wish to throw my television out the window. Whoa! that's a nice feeling.

on the other hand......
geeze California bigots
Thanks for almost ruining a perfectly beautiful election.
Yes I am sure the good lord above is smiling down on you and your narrow minded hate mongering selves.

I bet it feels great to quash the dreams and desires of your fellow Californians because you are too ignorant to look outside of your own prejudiced views.
I am sure it's easier to just pray that they change their  ways because you think they should then actually consider for just a moment that none of this really had any affect whatsoever on your life in any way. .
Gee thank you for reminding me why I fled the Sacramento valley back in the day.
Also a special Thank You to the lovely Mormon Church... wow our schools could have used those donations, our shelters, our foster families...wow you really are a bunch of loving and blessed people, ain'tcha?
