How is it that God could surprise me in so many new ways, all the time?
He blows my mind!!!
It's so incredible to be able to watch the ways he is working in our youth ministry at Unionville Alliance.
There is unity, and confidence. A spirit of worship and strength! Love is flooding the Board Room as God is revealing Himself through His Holy Spirit.
During worship yesterday, I couldn't help but close my eyes, lift my hands up, sing and cry out to Him.
On Saturday, I was dwelling so much on my imperfections after subconsciously comparing myself to the size 0, smooth-skinned, air-brushed beauties surrounding me at the mall. I knew that my thoughts weren't from the Lord... I knew that because I have been telling so many people of the GREAT news of how God has been working in my life and in the lives of my sisters-in-Christ! And I know that Satan is flipping out because of it. The devil's trying to tempt me with these awful thoughts- trying to pull me away from my Lord who has created me in His image.
Yesterday night, after the Soulhouse service (Unionville Alliance church, 6pm! Come all!), Shannon came up to me and said, "Katrina, my mom said she thinks you are gorgeous!"
That made me want to cry and thank God for that message! It was so uplifting to hear that from one of my SOJ-mates!(: It was like God used Shannon and her mother to tell me that I am beautiful! *sigh... Oh man. God is good. ALL THE TIME!
Anyways, I love looking back at old posts and seeing how filled with anxiety my life was, and how the entries were methods of venting information to no one.
This livejournal has officially been pimped! hahah except, not.. 'pimped'.. ha. Bad term..
Well, let's just say, this livejournal has become my online-form of my praise journal!
Hoping that a curious reader will read about the Father's deep love!
