difffernt cultures in this country are amazing. It makes me wonder who in that area had enough money to buy a camera or film.

The poster put "William Gedney" at the top. http://scriptorium.lib.duke.edu/gedney/ is a link to his photos. He apparently took hundreds of images in Kentucky in 1964 and 1972.
