Two Girls and Their Dolls- Date ???

This is my first attempt at posting here. I hope the photo is not too big. If so, you will need to explain how to put it "under a cut". I was never much of a "dolly girl" myself, but for some reason, I really love vintage photos of little girls with their dolls!

The photo is a good size: large enough to be able to appreciate the detail but not so large that one has to scroll down to see the whole thing.

Based on the toy car in the bottom right corner, and assorted details of clothing and hair styles, I'm going to guess "1930's"

That dolls appears to be looking at the camera and to be frank, it looks quite creepy!

Yes, that doll does have a rather strange expression, but I like it. I am pretty sure it's a German doll. Makes me think of Kathe Kruse, but I'm not too sure.
