Mid 1960's bikers and motorbikes. England.
Outside the Rising Sun Cafe circa 1965/6/7. I'm not entirely sure of the Cafe location, but it would have been in Essex or on the edge of London.
Looking away from the Rising Sun Cafe, taken same day as the first picture. The biker with the goggles appearing in both photos. The car in the picture is a Hillman Minx series 2 and was from about 1957. But quite a few of the bikes in the photo have plates that mark them as being 1965. None that I could see (Original scan from negative is huge - about 6 times bigger than this image) had plates that were later than '65.
And this was who took the other two photographs, my dad. This photo is a little earlier and I think it was taken about 1961/2 when he was about nineteen, and lived near Rayleigh in Essex. Sadly he's no longer here to ask about them.
