1946 and 1947 album

I decided to treat myself to one of the last three old albums. I've been a good girl and doing 70s albums in between.

This is Grandma Boots' album from 1946-1948 (and a few later thrown in). Today you will get 1946 and some of 1947. I'll continue with the rest tomorrow.

Included in this picture are Boots and Bob, Roy & Dessie, Dessie's sister-in-law Bobbie (of the later beehive hairdo) and Roy's brother Toad. Toad eventually married a woman called Toots and they became Toots and Toad.

Boots was pregnant in all of these above pictures - she didn't allow any pictures of her to be taken while she was showing - there are no pictures of Grandma pregnant with Dad or Leesa. Dad used to tell Leesa she was adopted and when she protested, Dad would say, "Are there any pictures of Mom pregnant with you?" and that made Leesa mad, hahaha.
