not at all. He was a cool guy who married for love a woman who wasnst royal and died in WWII

He renounced any rights to the succession for himself and his future children in 1933 for love.

ok here it is, such a interesting story... the emperor's line "Remember, there is every possible form of horse. We are thoroughbreds, however, and when we conclude a marriage such as with Fräulein von Salviati, it produces mongrels, and that may not happen." wow, I'm glad he wasn't persuaded, they should make a movie about this, it would be better than alot stuff today..

Yes he didnt listen to him and married dorothea anyway. They had two daughters and the eldest, Felicitas died a few days ago.
