Love is in the air everywhere you look around.
It's that time again! The month of celebrating your love with your significant other. For most people, its a time of happiness...the flowers, the candy, the huge stuffed teddy bears that most women love to get. For others, its a time of bitterness and heartache. Remembering old flames, burning ex's love letters, and the whole ritual of being an "Anti-valentinist".
Not that there's anything wrong with being that way. Valentines Day is far to commercial to begin with and it leaves some people unbearably hurt. My personal opinion about this "holiday" is that while it may be a good idea to share your love with people, it focuses way to much on showing that love, one day out of the year. Personally, Valentine's day should be EVERYDAY because if you have someone to love, you should show them that love everyday. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned like that, but its what I honestly believe.
I do have someone for this coming Valentine's Day which is awesome because it has been awhile. So hopefully I will be able to enjoy this holiday and not be incredibly sad and depressive, which I normally am.
Happy V-day to all you love-birds. And for all those Anti-Valentinists, rock on.
Much love you guys.
