Any Dream Will Do

I just got back from seeing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in Amsterdam and I LOVED it! Honestly, there aren't words for how much, and not only because I had a front row seat and could therefore unobstructedly oggle this piece of cute for two and a half hours ( Read more... )

SQUEEE! Front row seat :D Amazing! And I can so understand you had a great time. So you really had Freek. good. It would probably have been a bit disappointing if you had gotten his understudy (although he undoubtedly is good as well, but he is not Freek).

I actually had a third row seat, but there was an unoccupied seat right at the front, which I then commandeered. Evil, I know. ;-)

And yes, it would have been a little disappointing if I'd had John instead. He's a great singer, but like you said, he's not Freek.

Bwaha! Joseph is a musical. Yes, you read that right: a musical, including lots of dancing, cheesy lines and even cheesier music. Last year there was this competition on TV in which the audience could vote for the next big musical star. Freek, the guy in the picture, won the competition and the prize was playing the lead in Joseph. That's it basically. So lots of squeeing about a musical. But yes, yay, I'm indeed happy! =D

How are you doing, btw? Haven't talked to you in ages.

Ah, ok, thanks for the info. Sort of deducted you went to a musical, but was confused where the tv thing came into it. Unless you have to pay for a good seat in front of the tv at your home :P

I'm fine :) Really should update or something, and definitely should comment more on people's posts, but somewhere along the way I seem to have lost my livejournal addiction, and I'm having a hard time getting it back :/

I know what you mean. I, too, have been absent for a long time. It just seemed pretty silly to post "I'm fine, nothing new to tell" every other day.

Still, we all do want to know how you're doing, so if you're in the mood it would be fun to read what you've been up to, even if it's just an 'all is well' post. :-) But yeah, I get what you mean.
