HALP!
I really don't know much about setting lotion, or how to roll a set with said product.
Tips?
Advice?
Stories?
Something?
What do I buy? Do I use foam rollers? Can I just use pincurls?
Any direction would be highly appreciated :)

Best advices I can give you. Do not use it the first time when you are really wanting your hair to look good. It takes a little practice to figure it all out. I use lotta body set lotion. I buy it concentrated usually because i like my curl to stay put without being crunchy and that's how it works best with my hair. You will want to test what works best for you. I have used sponge, perm rods and pin curls, they all work great. I usually start with a damp head and add the lotion from there, but I know girls who do it with a dry head and work from there. To each their poison. One way to see how your hair holds up with the set lotion to figure it out without the commitment and lots of time curling is just put the set lotion in, do braids with a sponge curler on each end of your pigtails. Let it dry. You will have a nice deep wave, with pretty curled ends, and not as much fuss. It's pretty, but not as good as what you would get with taking the time to actually do a full set. Also, No matter what you do, dont go crazy with the amount of hair you put into each roller or pin curl. putting in too much wastes your time and doesn't dry quick enough. Lastly, MAKE SURE YOUR HAIR IS TOTALLY BONE DRY before you take it out of the curlers. If you have slept overnight, and you find your hair is still damp. Sit under a head dryer or you will have had an uncomfortable night a bunch of set lotion and the time put into each curl go to waste. I cannot stress this enough. BONE DRY!!!
