Hello ladies, I'm new to this community but thought i would share one of my vintage hair looks and some inspiration and aspirations (hairwise)

Your hair looks cute! Are you sure you want to go platinum though? It might look a little sickly with your skin tone. But good luck!

I think platinum looks good on pale skins too but only in a short hairstyle for a trendy look, long i would just look like a white witch!

Oh I agree, I just know a few women with naturally really dark hair who tried going platinum but the hair never made it to fully white blonde and was instead more yellow ish. I think that all depends on your hair, but alas I am no expert, I'm sure someone else can give you better advice than I :)

I'm naturally a redhead so once the black is stripped out it will go to an auburn colour first of all (my hairdresser did a strand test last time I was in the salon) then id have to wait a few weeks and get it stripped to a strawberry blonde, repeat the process to finally get to a platinum blonde. I have been considering an ash blonde but think that could wash me out to much! By the way, I'm loving your hair!

I used to have the underneath of my hair dyed black, then had to get it stripped twice to remove the black. My hair was so damaged from doing that I had to chop it off. For the better though, I love my bob now haha.
Ash blonde sounds lovely, as does platinum! I'm sorry I keep sounding like a Debbie Downer, I really don;t mean to, just sharing experience :)

And thank you! I am considering going back to my natural blonde just because keeping up with roots is starting to annoy me lol.

i'm very pale. And dark hair looks awful on me, the contrast makes me look sick. So I'm sure blonde will look great on you :)
