Ok, I'm pretty happy... because I think I've pretty much nailed the pageboy hairstyle! phew
My technique still needs refining, but now, I think I that I can finally release that feeling of not being able to conquer a challeng! haha
Thanks to eyesalight and a vintage manual (thank you, Christine!), I simply set all of my hair in pin curls facing forward and slept in them. In the morning, I carefully brushed out the curls with a curling brush in a winding motion beneath the hair. I was going to try to pin the ends of my hair to the scalp of my head, but not only is my hair too short to do so, but it ended up curling pretty well on it's own anyway!
