I got the job at hot topic! I haven't gotten the call yet (the manager said she'd probably call wednesday because she's at stray cats tonight, and she'll be really tired haha), but I have a friend that works there and he found out and told me. I should start training this weekend.
I didn't think I'd get the job until the interview. I had it on saturday, and there were some weirdddddddddd fucking people there. I'm not kidding, there was a guy who only talked about his life experiences when he used to be in the circus, and there was also a bearded lady there. I wish I could've taped the interview to post on here, it was hilariously. At one point in time, the manager would ask each person to suggest an outfit who wants to look punk, goth, rockabilly, or whatever, but she'd purposely pick something that looks like you wouldn't know much about. When she asked one of the guys to suggest an outfit to a rockabilly guy, she said she'd tell him to wear a fishet top. When the manager told her she was wrong (the manager's actually rockabilly haha), she just yelled at her and said, "Haven't you ever seen a rockabilly guy?!". I really hope no one else from that interview got hired haha.
