I showed up to my new polling place a few minutes before they officially opened and there was already a line of people stretching around the side of the building! I've never had to wait in a line to vote before and it was pretty exciting to hear some of the older voters say basically the same thing. It worried me that I wasn't on the actual registry list when I went to vote (especially since I re-registered at the beginning of October) but I voted provisionally and went on my merry way, with the sun rising to my back. What a good way to start the day! Let's hope it ends just as positively...
