High-Hat Tuna Souffle

From the October 1957 issue of Western Family Magazine.

You know...I'm actually thinking of trying to make this. Minus the pimientos. I need a spiffy souffle dish like that to bake it in, though...

Just found out about this community & came over here from vintage_ads. I recently scored a bunch of cute little vintage recipe cookbooklets & appliance owner's manuals with recipes in them, from the 1920s, 30s, 40s, 50s & 60s. Most of the booklets are recipes for a specific product (Jell-O, for example) or from a specific company. Lots of them have glorious (and in some cases, gloriously horrifying) color photos/lithos/illustrations of the food in question. I'll try to scan & post some recipes soon!

fleischmann's yeast, tuna, 50s, high-hat tuna souffle
