promises, swear them into the sky, were written in sort of a calm high? idk. They're the happiest of all my entries for the table challenge. They're the lightest, and I like them.
At first the canvas is white, and then peach, and then a cross in between olive and gray.
Antonio softly traces outlines with black and brown. He adds dashes of green and blue and swirls of soft pink, barely noticeable. A few strokes in this direction, and a few more in the other. The bristles of his brush bend against the canvas, adding blots of greens and grays and dirty whites.
He paints a shadow and then five more, all dancing and criss-crossing against each other.
He stops and smiles, grips the brush and his whirlpool of a pallet tightly, admiring his work.
"Can I move now?" Lovino asks irritably, his brows knitted together and his back lazy.
"No, or else I'll paint you frowning and it'll be very ugly!"
Lovino scowls, edges of his lips tugging downwards, creases at his forehead and at his eyes.
Antonio chuckles, and paints Lovino's smile instead.
