Whee!
So, with all due luck, if I can afford it, my brother is moving out here soon.
Somehow, I have tricked her into agreeing to cook and clean house in exchange for free room and board. Personally, I think I am getting a VERY sweet deal. I hate cooking. I only clean under duress, or to keep my place semi-presentable for company. Meals prepared at home for two is much, much cheaper than eating out for one, and I probably will get better food than "add one can corn to one can beans, heat and enjoy". Yeah. I am the AntiCook. So, even though I'll be buying food for two, I'll still be saving money on it.
I have to admit, I am aghast at the fact that her ex-fellah wasn't hip to having a housewife. I'd TOTALLY want a housewife if I were into chicks. I mean. If my chick wanted to be a housewife, an' all. Maybe I should set my sights on a househusband. Do they make such things? Are they available retail?
Also, if she gets a job, we'll share duties and move into a bigger, safer place and split rent. I hope.
Hopefully soon I won't have to miss my brother any more.
