I write to you from merry olde England. This will be a brief update, as I fear for my coherency level.

Dana and I left New York at approximately 7:00 - naturally about twenty minutes late, as flights are wont to be. We touched down at Heathrow Airport at 6:10 in the morning, suffered through the lines of immigration and customs, and finally got out of the airport proper around the time of 7:50.

It took some time to find the place, but we were accosted by a cab driver presently upon reaching the general pick up area, and thus took the only cab we or I will ever take while in England. This we to the school building so I could drop off my huge fuck-off suitcase of stuff, and my laptop.

With only my smaller suitcase in hand, we then took the Circle Line to Paddington station and then got on the train to Cardiff. Paddington to Cardiff is a long train ride - most of which was slept through. I'm now typing from our youth hostel. I also technically haven't slept since 10:00 yesterday morning, and the worst part is that it's only two in the afternoon. I'm afraid to sleep now because I don't want to prolong jet lag, but I am desperately tired. Bah.

From what we've seen so far, Cardiff is a nice and very pretty city, if a small one. Our hostel is on a river, and across from some sort of stadium. The rest of the area is full of shopping arcades, but neither Dana nor I are interested in shopping at the moment. The stores can all be found in America, anyway.

deviliknow, your challenge 'fic is progressing nicely. It's at about four pages now.

And now I die at the computer station.
