Freedom: Lack of..."trigger happy policemen"

If you haven't heard about it yet, you will tomorrow (Sunday). Jayland Walker, a 25 year old African American Akron resident, was pulled over for a traffic violation. He fled for reasons we'll never knew. Police claim he fired a shot; but I unknowningly was hearing the start of probably the worst police shooting of a single African American in this country. I heard the sirens start about a block from me, then more sirens, then I heard them turn onto Route 8 South as they chased him. They claim he fired a gun while turning onto Route 8. I heard no shot, no firework, or car backfire. At that early in the morning it's totally silent, I can hear for several blocks.

Jayland got out of his car, ran FROM the police and the 8 police officers, who saw no gun on him, started shooting him in the back. He turned towards them and they kept shooting, including when he hit the ground. Police fired over 90 bullets and 60 hit him. Someone who has seen the footage said he was shot from the head to the knees. The police cuffed his bullet ridden body. The medical examiner ruled it a murder. They're releasing the police footage tomorrow at a news conference starting around 1pm EST.

Marvin Gaye released Inner City Blues in 1971. 51 years later, what's changed? Still "trigger happy policemen".
