stop! ...squinting time:

"Extra guest for dinner?

You're ready for him!

When a stray golfing partner drops in after a game - and stays - that's one good time for delicious Swanson TV Brand Chicken Dinners. When Mom's late, or the sitter doubles as cook, are other examples of the kind of special occasions for which Swanson TV Brnd Dinners are so handy.

They're all cooked, fresh frozen and ready to heat in their own individual serving trays - without thawing. Only 20 minutes from oven to table! No work before - no dishes after. Just pure enjoyment of tender, meaty golden-fried chicken with garden-fresh mixed vegetables and fully whipped potatoes. Every dinner includes a portion of breast, a wing and a drumstick or thigh. Make sure you keep some in your freezer always.

Only Swanson has the secret of these delicious Frozen Meals"

20 minutes? I remember it more like 40. We used to beg for them and then it was agony to wait while they heated in the oven. But we really did eat them off of folding tray-tables in front of the TV. It was a big treat, like for the annual TV showing of Wizard of Oz.
