Liquor, Later: World War II Canadian Club Whisky Ads
This is another collection I pulled from the LIFE archive that I've had sitting around for a while (I posted a set of Canadian Club ads with some terrible staged photos recently). This is a set that ran during World War II, and these differ from the previous set because they are all domestic destinations, with the headline question noting their similarity to foreign destinations that were presumably out of reach to wartime travelers. I thought this was a very interesting approach and would be worth sharing.
