Man, sometimes I think I'm really living in the wrong time. (Yes, I *have* eaten sugar by the spoonful. Hey! It's all energy!)

When I was a kid, I liked to make sandwiches out of white bread, margarine, and sugar. Little did I know I was saving myself from overeating.

It works, too! I have often found that a candy bar and Coke before dinner helps me to say 'no' to that second plate of spaghetti.

I live near a major sugar producer and they have ads very similar to that in this area still. And worse yet they place them in children's newspapers with all kind of sugar-laden recipes for parents. bleh... The stench from the facilities is pretty damn noxious as well.

I'm not sure how to describe it, much different from Dow's nearby chlorine-laced output, kind of like filthy ass multiplied exponentially.

Where in the hell do you live? ;) bombarded by such fumes..yikes! The Mrs. Bairds bread plant used to smell soooooooo good with the yeast and baking smells, but somehow it was bad for the environment so they made them stop that. THE SMELL OF BAKING BREAD=bad but you still smell chlorine and the rendering of sugar, so sorry.

Yay! This is the scientific breakthrough I've been waiting for, even if I have to travel back in time to enjoy it!

Sugar is our friend. By the teaspoon, by the tablespoon, or by the dump truck - sugar keeps you skinny!
