thanks for sharing that, what a wonderful read.

I actually have a working (and I use it), sunkist j7 juicer, patented 1941...

the hood is all metal, versus this ceramic as in the advert you shared,
but the thing is a wonderful machine, and makes delicious citrus juice in short order.
